Home Arts Events:
Many thanks for checking out our website. Below are a list of home arts events being held during the 2008 Elko County Fair. Entries in all divisions, except floriculture, will be received in the Home Art Exhibit Building from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm, Thursday August 28, 2008. Floriculture will be received in the Flower Building from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday August 28 and 7:00 am to 10:00 am on Friday August 29, 2008. Farm Produce This includes: Forage & Sheaf, Vegetables, Fruit, and Small Exhibits.

Baking This includes: Breads, Rolls, Cakes, Cupcakes, Pastries, Cookies, and Candies.

	Canned Products This includes: Canned Goods, Jams & Jellies, Fruits, Vegetables, Meats, Pickles & Relishes, Dried Foods, and Beer & Wine,

	Indian Crafts This includes: willow work, raw hide, buck skin, cradleboards, beaded work, and silver smith made by any enrolled member of a recognized native American tribe.
	Fine Arts This includes: Oil Paintings, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and mixed media, graphic art, and sculptures.
	Flowers This includes: flowers, house plants, potted plants and planters, terrariums and dish gardens, artistic arrangements and childrens displays.
	Quilting This includes: any size quilts and wall hangings.
	Needlework This includes: stamped and ribbon embroidery, needle point crewel and canvas, and counted thread.
	Hobbies & Crafts This includes: pottery, wood working, raw hide and horse hair, leather, stained glass, jewelry, tole painting, hobbies and collections, models, decorations, toys, and bazaar items.
	Photography This includes: black and white and color photographs.
	Sewing This includes: garments by conventional and serger machines, applique and machine embroidery, and completely hand sewn.
	Crocheting & Knitting This includes: Crochet and Knitting
